Christmas Cards

We are excited to show off our 2015 Christmas cards, created exclusively for Reeds of Hope by graphic designer and screen printer Jeff Lawhead. He worked long and hard with his lovely and talented wife, Cassie, to create a design that would speak to what Reeds of Hope is all about. All the profits will go directly to our initiatives in DRC.

This project was especially close to home for Jeff. His nephew is Congolese American and he's also a passionate about education as social justice, working as an elementary teacher in an underprivileged district. Jeff does freelance design work out of his studio in the evenings and during the summer. Each card is handmade in this labor of love. The cards require two layers of ink using a screen print technique. He uses the highest quality materials to create a product that is truly unique.

Each set includes two designs- one promoting education, the other our family preservation initiative. You will receive four of each along with coordinating craft envelopes.

Family Bethlehem is where orphaned children find a home in Eastern Congo. In a region where one in three children will never step foot in a classroom, our sponsorship program is empowering young people through education. Learn more at www.reedsofhope.org

At Emmanuel Training Center in Democratic Republic of the Congo, young mothers find hope. These women are enrolled in a nine month sewing program that equips them with the training and tools to launch their own businesses. Through this initiative, families are preserved as mothers are empowered. Learn more at www.reedsofhope.org

The cards are literally hot off the press. We are taking pre orders now, your cards will be shipped by November 28. Thanks for sharing the exciting work Reeds of Hope is doing in Congo while wishing your loved ones a Merry Christmas!
