HERITAGE BASKET

CLOSED! THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!

The heritage basket is especially for adoptive families. Every item was donated by friends of Reeds of Hope. That means that every dollar you spend on raffle tickets will go directly to supporting vulnerable families in Congo!

Lori from Worth the Wait Creations creates personalized family trees using original mixed media art on canvas. You tell her your story and she'll create a beautiful, one of a kind work that will be treasured for years to come in your family. You will receive a $100 gift certificate to use in her shop, good for one canvas up to 18" x 24". Learn more and view samples of her work on facebook or in her shop.

"Karibu" is the Swahili greeting used all over East Africa. It is the warmest way to greet a friend or family member. Hang this beautiful hand carved plaque near your entry to bring a bit of Africa into your home!

We've said it before, we'll say it again.... We LOVE the Congolese Keepsake Cookbook. From delicious, authentic recipes, to beautiful photographs, to places to records special memories, this book belongs in every home connected to Congo.

We've been holding out on these cards for something super special... and we think this basket is just it. Handmade from banana leaves in Eastern Congo, these Christmas cards are one of kind. Perfect to send to loved ones or to slip into a small frame to use as Christmas decor. Two of each design are included with craft paper envelopes.

(email hollydoden at gmail dot com to send a check) The raffle will close on Monday, December 7th at 11:59 PST. A winner will be randomly selected and announced immediately following.  Good luck and thank you for your support!
